Sensitive teeth after filling

Sensitive teeth after filling

Sensitive teeth can make life miserable. The pain and discomfort makes hot or cold

favorite foods impossible to enjoy.

A part of the tooth is covered by enamel that protects the softer dentine. When dentine is exposed, it can cause the tooth to be sensitive.

This happens where the tooth and gum meet and the enamel layer is thinner than normal.

Sensitivity after filling is normal. This sensitivity can persist for several months. Especially if your teeth exposed to very hot or cold environment. If the tooth becomes less sensitive over time, then you can adopt any further action is required. But if the sensitivity continues or starts to increase then you must visit your dentist.
